Community Development Task Force Report

The Community Development Task Force was established at the February 2007 annual Vestry meeting with a mandate to report back to the broader community with recommendations for community development in about 12 weeks time. We were asked to explore strategies relating to three main areas:

  1. Marketing our community to those whose needs and interests may be aligned with what we have to offer

  2. Welcoming and integrating newcomers into our community; and

  3. Building/maintaining community amongst our existing community.

We met on five occasions over the past three months, and the final report summarizes our work in these three main areas. We encourage members of the community to review it as we will be developing a list of action items in the coming weeks.
